Bargaining Update: June 2-3, 2021
Our UTSC bargaining team engaged in an animated discussion with Kaiser Permanente (KP) over the past two days regarding the per diem work commitment and schedule utilization.
In our dialogue on the per diem commitment, we reviewed Appendix B (read the full contract on MemberLink under the Documents tab), especially language regarding scheduled per diem shifts matching projected KP needs. See contract language below.
Scheduled Per Diem shifts must match employer projected needs at least 80% of the time.
We have a commitment to work through an IBPS model and we next plan to tackle education leave rollover.
