Bio – Paul Ciriacks
| Hello, my name is Paul Ciriacks. I work as a charge nurse in the PICU. I have worked for Kaiser for 19 years and I have had the privilege of being your Hospital President for the last six years. I am asking for your vote for re-election.
Since I have been your President, I have had extensive experience in representation for Corrective Action. I have enforced Just Culture especially regarding med errors. I have won grievances preserving verbal NKE, getting back pay for nurses, and holding management to the guidelines of courtesy and respect. I have won grievances regarding qualifications for floating and procedures to protect our licenses. I helped create the Float and Rapid Response Teams. I crafted the relief nurse Letter of Agreement which provided for break nurses and improved staffing. This year I helped develop the No Progress, No Pulse campaign which was successful. I have been bargaining our contract this year to improve working conditions, give us more time off, and give us record wage increases. Before you mark your ballot, ask yourself a question. If management wants to talk to you and your job is on the line, who are you going to call? Thank you for your support. |
