Bio – Mutia (Faith) Della Villa
| With 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Rehab, I’ve devoted my career to advocating for safe staffing, fair assignments, and open communication between staff and leadership. My roles as UBT co-lead, Shared Governance participant, Steward, Contract Action Team member, and Charge/Relief Nurse have allowed me to educate, empower, and unify our colleagues.
I’ve led patient safety initiatives, mentored new nurses as a preceptor, and helped strengthen charge nurse communication through KDRNA and GroupMe. I also represent members during Level 4 corrective actions, ensuring fair and informed support when it matters most. I’ve consistently stood up for safe practices, including opposing unsafe floats and bedside procedural sedations in Med-Surg/Tele units. With our union contract expiring on September 30, 2025, my goal is to ensure every nurse feels heard, supported, and engaged. As President, I will focus on improving communication, recruiting and uplifting stewards, and reinforcing a powerful truth: YOU ARE THE UNION and TOGETHER, WE STAND UNITED AS ONE. |
