Bio – Arthur Mascorro

I’m a Registered Nurse with Kaiser Permanente and have been a proud member of UNAC for over 12 years. During that time, I’ve worked hard to support my patients, my coworkers, and the growth of our profession. For the past 9 years, I’ve served as a Relief Charge Nurse, where I’ve been able to step into leadership, guide the team through challenges, and make sure we’re always focused on delivering safe, high-quality care.

One of the parts of my job I enjoy most is working with new nurses. I love being able to train, mentor, and encourage them as they find their footing. I also like looking for new ways to make things better—whether that means improving how we communicate, sharing fresh ideas, or finding small changes that make a big difference for patients and staff.

My colleagues know me as approachable and reliable, and I try to create an environment where everyone feels supported and valued. I believe teamwork, open communication, and a willingness to grow together are what make us strong.

As a candidate, I bring leadership experience, long-standing union involvement, and a real commitment to helping our team thrive.
