SFRNA Community Vigil

On Tuesday, St. Francis Registered Nurses Association (SFRNA) held a joint vigil with SEIU members at St. Francis Medical Center (SFMC) to encourage Verity Health Care to be accountable for its commitment to employees, quality patient care, and the community. SFMC’s parent company recently filed for bankruptcy protection.

Special thanks go out to guest speakers Lynwood Councilmember Aide Castro and City of Lynwood Major José Luis Solache. SFRNA retirees from ICU Tess Tayag, Daisy McDonald, and Marylou Villacarillo also came out. SFRNA will fight to ensure patients continue to receive excellent care through this process and into the future.
