PRNA BARGAINING TEAM REACHES TENTATIVE AGREEMENT (TA) WITH PARKVIEW MANAGEMENT!!
Late Friday evening our PRNA Bargaining Team, with the support of a record number of members who attended negotiations throughout the long day, reached a tentative agreement (TA) with Parkview management.

BARGAINING UPDATE 7/15/11
Our PRNA Bargaining Team is pleased to report this update on our negotiations this week. We have tentatively agreed to Article 6, Patient Care Advocacy, Supervision and Professional Responsibility and Article 18, Education Benefits. EXCITEMENT in the PARKVIEW BOARDROOM!!
Parkview RN members turned out in force to support our bargaining team’s proposal for fair wage increases, improvements in health care, and other economic improvements. Over 30 RN’s, from units throughout the hospital, wearing UNAC scrubs and ‘The TIME is NOW!” stickers came to support a fair contract.

After a four week break in negotiations, our team here at Parkview is disappointed management came to the table today with only ONE counter proposal to the seven they owe us.

Parkview RNs Fight On – May/June’11 Voice
Contract negotiations for the Parkview Registered Nurses Association began in March. Debby Cruz, RN, NICU, Viera Daniels, RN, Peds, Linda Hippolyte, RN, Admit Unit, Jackie Johnson, RN, ASC and Judy Vargas, RN, ICU are representing the PRNA members. Negotiations have been lively, with significant PRNA member attendance at the bargaining sessions. The bargaining team is expecting to finish negotiations by May 31st.
PRNA Negotiations Update: May 18, 2011
In spite of a few challenges accessing meeting rooms, your PRNA team was successful in TAing Article 12, which guarantees RNs the right to continue to self-schedule. We had yet another successful day of negotiations. Today, we won the right to make a presentation at the RN new hire orientation. Management promised a response to our benefit proposals tomorrow. Parkview Negotiations Update for May 11, 2011
Thursday’s negotiations have been canceled.
Parkview management requested the cancelation of negotiations previously scheduled for Thursday May 12.
On Tuesday of this week our PRNA bargaining team presented all remaining proposals, which included proposals for wages and benefits. Management has requested additional time to review and prepare a response.
We will meet with them next week: Tuesday May 17 and Wednesday May 18 in the Founders Center, beginning at 10 am both days.

Parkview Negotiations Update for May 10, 2011
Your PRNA Negotiating team has submitted all remaining wage and benefit proposals to Parkview Management. Management has requested we cancel Wednesday’s negotiations so that they may review all outstanding proposals and prepare for our next meeting on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 10am in the Magnolia Building.

Parkview Registered Nurses Association Bargaining Team Update — April 21, 2011
On our third day of negotiations with PCHMC management we are happy to report the tentative agreement to Article 10, Seniority. Negotiations were lively and several counter proposals were made by both teams. Chino Valley NLRB Hearing – The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearing to address Prime Health Services’ objections to our election victory was completed on June 7. Both sides submitted written legal briefs on June 21 and we expect a Board ruling could be issued in late July or early August.
