UNAC/UHCP is committed to helping improve our communities through community service. Our union has a long history of volunteerism—gifts of our labor and professionalism, in direct care, education and money for those in need. See below for some of our latest community service work.

KSDHCPA Members Donate Over 600 Diapers to Drive

KSDHCPA members attended Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher's Annual Holiday Open House and Diaper Drive in December. Last year, the Assemblywoman launched the first of an annual end-of-the-year diaper drive to help meet the more immediate needs of families within her district. This year, KSDHCPA members donated over 600 diapers.

On Sunday, November 5, our Specialty Care Nurses of Southern California (SCNSC) and Kaiser San Diego Health Care Professionals Association (KSDHCPA) members partnered to participate in Susan G. Komen’s Annual Race for the Cure at Balboa Park.

4th Annual SFRNA Back to School Drive

SFRNA RNs were able to come together with ancillary staff, MDs, and other St. Francis employees to collect monetary donations for area schools Mark Twain Elementary and Washington Elementary.
