Bargaining Update: March 22, 2012
The SCNSC Bargaining Team is standing firm on two very important issues to you with great resistance from management:
• Annual ETO Approval (Time Off/Vacations)
• Filling of Vacancies
After multiple consecutive days, intense discussion, presentation of examples from you, and interest sharing, no consensus is being reached. The team is unwilling to compromise your interests and will only agree to live with an option that will improve your current working conditions. The team will continue to explore options to resolve this conflict.
There will be a two week break, with the team returning to the table on April 11 and 12.
